Residents Of Abua/Odual Call On The Attention Of River State Govt. Over NNLG Gas Leakage

The leadership of Abua youths has expressed fear over the health conditions of residents of Elok and Lighom communities following a gas leak in an NNLG Gas Pipeline in the area.

President of Abua Youths ITODE GODPOWER EZE told our correspondent that the gas leak occurred on Sunday.

The Abua Youths President ITODE GODPOWER EZE called for government attention as well as that of the operating firm NNLG to restore normalcy in the pipeline and communities.

When contacted, the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Abua/Odual Local Government OYE IGENEWARI confirmed the gas leakage but said investigation is on to unravel what actually happen to the gas line.
