Student Leader Urges Youths To Shun Cultism and Crime

A former president of National Union of Abua/Odual Students and the president of National Union of Rivers State Students (NURSS) Rivers State College Of Health Science and Technology Port Harcourt, Comrade Obinnah Churchill Idiowa  has urged youths and students in the state to shun crime, cultism and other social vices.

Comrade Obinnah said, it would be self-defeatism for students and  youths to continue to engage in crimes such as kidnapping, armed robbery and cultism which would not only bring scorn to them but also destroy their brighter future.

Comrade Obinnah churchill Idiowa call on the Rivers State  government and Caretaker Committee Chairmen of Local government councils in the state, especially those of the Orashi Region to roll out programmes that would bring out the best of the youths instead of making them political hoodlums and    prospective deviants.

According to him, the government at the state and the local government need to fund and sponsor students union programs and activities which will aid enlightening and education youths on the implications and dangers associated with crime and cultist instant of using youths for negative political ambition and thuggery.
