Magnus Abe Celebrates King Gininwa At 78


The senator representing Rivers South-East senatorial district in the National Assembly, Senator Magnus Ngei Abe, has congratulated the Gbenemene Tai and President of the Supreme Council of Ogoni Traditional Rulers, King Godwin Gininwa.

Senator Abe, in a statement issued in Port Harcourt by his spokesman, Parry Saroh Benson, described Gininwa as a dependable traditional ruler and one of the most revered royal fathers in Rivers State.

He also praised the traditional ruler for what he described as his unwavering and unflinching dedication to peace and unity among Ogonis as well as his commendable ideals of promoting the spirit of brotherhood among other ethnic groups in Rivers State in the course of his reign.

The senator said, “On the occasion of your 78th birthday anniversary, I write to extend my warm felicitations to Your Majesty on behalf of my family, the Ogonis and the good people of the Rivers South East Senatorial District.

“Your reign has been a life truly worthy of celebration. You have always readily availed us of your thoughtful counsel and wisdom as we work assiduously to reposition Ogoni and impact more meaningfully in the lives of our people in Rivers South East Senatorial District.

"You remain a source of hope, support and worthy compatriot in our collective search for enduring peace, security, accelerated growth and development for all our people.

"I join your family, the good people of Tai kingdom, friends, protégés and well-wishers to thank God for your life and to pray that He continues to guide, guard and prosper you, even as He blesses you with many more years of robust health and personal fulfillment."
