Construction of Bonny-Bodo Road Will Open New Vista Of Opportunities For The Niger Delta ~ Dakuku Peterside

The Director General of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, Dr. Dakuku Adol Peterside has described the proposed construction of the 34-kilometre Bonny-Bodo Road as one of the many of Federal Government's good intentions for the Niger Delta people as a whole. He said that when completed the road will open up economic lifelines and opportunities not only for Bonny and Gokana people but the entire Niger Delta.

Speaking at the end of the flag-off ceremony of the Bonny-Bodo Road, the DG, NIMASA, berated Governor Nyesom Wike who attempted to frustrate the good intentions of the Federal Government for Rivers State in particular and the Niger Delta in general.

He described, as unfortunate, a situation where the Governor complained about the contractor for the project and then declared that Principals/Headmasters/Headmistresses who allow his/her school to be used for the flag off ceremony will be sacked.

Dr. Dakuku commended President for fulfilling another promise made to Rivers People during the All Progressive Congress Campaign in the state.
