Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs has congratulated the brand new chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC, Rivers State chapter; Ojukaye Flag Amachree on his official inauguration as the Chairman of the party in the state.
Recall that the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, in a rescheduled state congress on Monday 21st of May, in Port Harcourt, elected a 36-member executive to pilot the affairs of the party in the state. Hon. Ojukaye Flag-Amachree and Chief Emeka Beke, were elected Chairman and Secretary respectively by the delegates at the Elekahia Community Hall.
For the APC in Rivers State, the emergence of Ojukaye and the other party executives on the 21st of May signaled a readiness for the divine assignment of redeeming the state and restoring her lost glory. Stakeholders of the party have continued to express their satisfaction with the results of the congress and have recently shown more delight as the state's party chairman Ojukaye Flag Amachree is officially inaugurated at the party's National secretariat, Abuja on the 4th of June.
Reacting to the development, Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs stated that "the inauguration is a fulfillment of the people's will and a favorable reality that we must all accept with thanksgiving to God as good party men and women." He advised all party faithful to give their maximum support to the newly elected officials and avoid unnecessary distractions while focusing on the battle to reclaim and redeem Rivers State,
He thanked the leader of the party Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi for his display of courage, love and firmness in the handling party affairs and prayed God to continue strengthening the leader and the newly inaugurated officials, and bless the party with resounding victory.
