Wike Commissions Luxury Doctors Quarters In Port Harcourt


As part of the 3rd anniversary celebration in office of HE Gov Nyesom Wike, former Rivers State Governor, HE Dr Peter Odili  will commission the new flats built and furnished by this administration on Tuesday 5th June, 2018 at Braithwaite Memorial Specialist Hospital, Port Harcourt at 10am.

This is in fulfilment of the promises the Gov made to Rivers people and medical doctors in particular that there will be a NEW era of healthcare facilities in the State.

Since coming on board, the Govt of HE Nyesom Wike has established the School of Medical Sciences at Rivers State University; established the N500M interest free loan to private medical doctors; has completed the mother and child hospital; is rebuilding 13 General Hospitals (Gen Hospital, Abua has been commissioned); is reconstructing 5 Zonal Hospitals; awarded full scholarship to 100 medical students at PAMO University of Medical Sciences, etc. These are concrete achievements in the health Sector.
