President Muhammadu Buhari will be visiting London for a 10-day working holiday, which will commence on Friday, August 3, 2018.
Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, disclosed this to journalists on Wednesday in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
He said the President has transmitted a letter to the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, notifying them of his vacation to London.
“In compliance with Section 145 (1) of the 1999 Constitution, a letter has been transmitted to the President of the Senate, and the Speaker, House of Representatives to that effect.
“President Buhari will be in London for the holiday”, He added.
Mr Adesina noted that while the President is away on vacation, the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, will be in acting capacity as the President.
