Amb. Chijioke Ihunwo, the Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Rivers State chapter and South-South zone, has directed all Youth Leaders in the twenty three (23) local government areas of Rivers State, to ensure compliance to the order by His Excellency, Chief Barr. E.N Wike, the Executive Governor of Rivers State, declaring curfew in the State, starting on Tuesday, 11th May, 2021, till further notice.
As you may know, His Excellency, Chief Barr. E.N Wike, the Executive Governor of Rivers State, has declared a curfew in Rivers State, starting on Tuesday, 11th May, 2021.
The curfew is geared towards forestalling the heinous attacks, perpetrated by those who don't mean well for Rivers State.
In view of the declaration by the Governor, Amb. Chijioke Ihunwo, has directed all Youth Leaders in the State, to be at alert, monitor their local government areas, ensure compliance to the letter and report any strange gathering or movement to the security agencies for further action to be taking.
