It was a day of bliss as award winning poet ; Chijioke Amu Nnadi unveiled his long awaited poem compilation -
: "The Love Canticles" & Audio compilation of select poems : "Everything Beautiful " at the dome event center in Port Harcourt.
The Host Mr Chijioke Amu Nnadi while welcoming attendees, said he was short of words for the massive turn out, and show of love. He specially thanked Effiong Akwa : Interim Administrator, NDDC, Chief John Nnia and everyone else who have turned up for him while praying God to bless everyone specially
Interim Administrator of the Niger Delta Development Commission - Effiong Akwa who chaired the event said he was truly elated that Amu Nnadi could find time to write such a master piece in his words " while reading this piece, I saw great use of alliteration to drive home the work and proper use of metaphor to the audience, I recommend this book to every person that is intrested in literature".
Keynote speaker Chief John Nnia Nwodo who was the former President-General Ohaneze-Ndigbo while making his speech mesmerized the audience as he took time to eulogize the author Amu Nnadi, he said " "Amu Nnadi's piece gives me intellectual orgasim, as he uses words beyond words"
The book review was done by Onyemuche A. Ejesu and there were performances by : Edwina Aleme, Amu Nnadi, August Chuks, Buchi, Amutolani J. chukwuemeka, Pamela Scott, Felix Sam, Tarri Guitari and Maestro T. Allaboh.
The event was also attended by Chief Rt Hon Ifeanyi (Enugu State Governor) represented by his chief press secretary, Chucks ujuoke, Dame Ale Cookeygam, Captains of industries etc...
At the end of the attendees couldn't help but appload the work of Chijioke amu Nnadi as they took turns to say nothing but nice words about the event some even called it " rich literature exposee while others referred to it as a swell time of intimate literature fellowship "
