OPEN LETTER TO THE NATIONAL CHAIRMAN OF APC, THE PRESIDENTIAL FLAG BEARER AND PRESIDENT MOHAMMADU BUHARI
It's with great humility that I write as a dedicated and loyal party man, whom from the recent National Convention had to sacrifice his ambition on the alter of Zoning and Party Loyalty due to my love for our great party and our country Nigeria.
We cannot continue to ignore the rising popularity of Peter Obi mostly amongst the youths. He has caused a political revolution taking place amongst young people in Nigeria even without him knowing. This was the same vibes and feelings shared by Nigerian that led to the booting out of PDP in 2015. As of today, if INEC was to conduct the presidential election, Peter Obi the votes of both the South-East and South-South. And if the Labour Party forms an alliance with NNPP, then Northwest is theirs for the taken. Shockingly to all of us, I predict Peter Obi might win Tinubu even in the south-west come 2023.
The Youths have shown from the rush for PVC that they're ready to vote out the past and they consider both Atiku & Tinubu as the dark past. Obi clearly has the support of the generality of Nigerian Youths including those in both APC & PDP. And I doubt if they'll change their minds before election rather I believe they'll gain grounds and succeed in convincing their parents and grandparents to take their position.
Let me advice the two major parties to consider replacing their flag bearers as I'm afraid a political revolution is about to happen. One that if we try to subvert the will of young people, it might lead to the very end of this great country.
And for my dear party the APC, I'll ask our flag bearer to consider the mood of the Nation and once again play the fatherly role he has played all from his reign in Lagos and step down for the candidate that came second in the APC Presidential primary; Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi for our great party the APC to secure victory in 2023. Only Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi can compete with the present love and energy Nigerian Youths feel for Peter Obi. He'll also enjoy the trust of the North and will divide Obi's votes in the south. The northerners believe he sacrificed for Buhari to emerge as president and they'll back him with Buhari support. He's young and will get sympathy from youths. He represents both the east and south as he's considered an Igbo man. And his past record and performance both as Governor of Rivers State and Minister of Transportation clearly beats that of Peter Obi. APC doesn't have a choice here, if we must win. This is my personal advice to the party, our Presidential candidate and President Buhari himself.
