Historic events have started happening in Rivers State, as the national ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state receives decampees from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other registered political parties in the 23 Local Government Areas of the state.
The train of the I SEE YOU GROUP arrived yesterday November 10, 2017 at Akinima, Headquarters of Ahoada West Local Government Area where 3,500 members of the formerly PDP group emptied into the APC.
Speaking at the event, National Leader of the group Mr. Chizi Nyeomasila said that his group were involved in a fatal political accident while they supported the PDP. He said, the journey with the PDP ended in fatality.
Giving credit to the former Governor of Rivers State and Hon. Minister for Transportation and Leader of the APC in Rivers State and South-South, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi CON, Mr. Chizi said that in the distance of every 5km walk or drive around Rivers State, one will surely find the signature in terms of project executed by the last administration submitting that GENTILITY SHALL CROWN THE DAY IN RIVERS STATE come 2019.
Mr. Chizi, while presenting the decampees in Ahoada West to the LGA APC Party Chairman, Chief Goodluck Agwolo, rendered an open apology to Ahoada West and Rivers State as a whole for supporting a mistake. He also reaffirmed their total loyalty to the leader of the APC in Rivers State and South-South, Hon. Minister for Transportation Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi CON.
Receiving the decampees, the Party Chairman in the LGA Chief Agwolo assured them of equal rights, stands and benefits.
Also Speaking, the Leader of the APC in Ahoada West and the Orashi region, Rt. Hon. Asita Honourable welcomed the new entrants into the party; telling them that the APC is a family.
