STANLEY ALEX-OWEN MEETS WITH EXECUTIVES OF APC IN IGBO-AKOH CLAN, (WARD 11 - 13) AHOADA EAST; SEEK FOR SUPPORT

The Purposeful Change Organization of Hon. Stanley Alex-Owen, a House of Representatives aspirant for Abua-Odual/Ahoada East Federal Constituency under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) on Tuesday met with the executives of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Igbo-Akoh Clan, comprising of ward 11, 12 and 13 in Ahoada East Local Government Area.

Hon. Stanley during his  consultation visit to Igbo - Akoh Clan at Ula Ehuda Community Town Hall declared his intention to run for House of Representatives, to represent Abua-Odual/Ahoada East federal constituency.

"Our constituency is one constituency that is important in Rivers politics with so many other qualified persons but today I present myself to you to seek for your support and vote in the forth coming primaries as I aspire to represent you in the House of Representatives."

Stanley said his intention to contest for House of Representatives is targeted at bringing development and as well create wealth for the people of his constituency.

His promise was, 'if voted into office, he will ensure that notable projects are attracted to the constituency ranging from good roads, potable drinking water, health care services and scholarships for students."

He said he will create wealth for the people by creating cooperatives, empowerment and employment opportunities.

He called on the delegates from ward 11 - 13 to support and vote for him in the up coming party primaries and at the general elections.

Hon. Washington Major who spoke during the meeting charged all sons and daughters of Igbo-Akoh Clan to support Stanley Owen because he is a man of  integrity and will fulfill his promises.

"I bring you this young vibrant man with integrity and ideas to develop our people and communities."

"I am an Akoh man, I think the change should start from Igbo-Akoh, that is why I brought him to you and therefore urge you all to support and vote for him because he is a man of integrity."

Responding, the chairman of the party in the ward 12, Hon. Bright Okorogba who spoke on behalf of other ward chairmen commended Hon. Stanley Owen for recognising and coming to identify with the Igbo-Akoh people.

He said, Igbo -Akoh clan, is one of the powerful clans in Ahoada East and declared that the delegates of  ward 11 to 13 are for Hon. Stanley Alex-Owen.

The deputy chairman of the All Progressive Congress APC in Ahoada East LGA, Hon. Prince Noble, in his closing remarks, commended Hon. Stanley Owen  for his bravery and confidence to run for House of Representatives and reassured him of their supports and votes.

He prayed that God see him  through in his pursuit to bring change and development to the people of Abua-Odual and Ahoada East federal constituency.
