The Rivers State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Thursday adopted indirect primaries for all elective positions in the party ahead of 2019 general elections.
The decision took place during an Enlarge State Executive Committee of the party at the Party Secretariat, Aba road Port Harcourt.
The meeting which started about 10:30am was presided over by the Chairman, Hon. Ojukaye Flag Amachree, he also said that revalidation of membership of the party has started.
The party resolved to adopt Indirect Primaries in Rivers State With: 3 votes for Consensus,
1 vote for Direct primaries and
106 votes for Indirect Primaries.
